From a very young age, I had always been fascinated by my mum's little old film camera, where you could take 20 or so photos and then take the film roll to the nearest photo shop (200 km away) to develop. It was always so exciting to pick up the photos and see how the many photographs of our working dogs and cows had turned out!

To this day, I still have many of these precious memories stored in an album that I occasionally look back on with fond memories of what I call the best childhood anyone could wish for.

I am now a full time stay-at-home mum to the sweetest little boy that my wonderful husband and I adore more than anything and part time rural family and business photographer.

My passion has always been capturing photographs and memories of people and the ones they hold dearly to them. There is just something so unique about being able to take a photograph of someone or something and have that moment captured as it was, perfectly forever.

Being a portrait photographer, along with documenting and photographing people in our rural lifestyle, is now even more important to me now that I am a mother. I want to be able to take and document as many images as possible of our lives with our son to pass down to him and his family one day.

People always ask, "What's the first thing you'd take with you (besides yourself and family!) if your house was on fire?"

The answer is always, "Your family photos."

Having Rachel take my photos was a lovely way to spend the afternoon. She sought out locations and photo opportunities which were unique to our home and made the photos individual to me. Rachel was relaxed and open to suggestions about location or posing. She has a special talent for capturing the light and our landscape to showcase it at its best which is a hard feat to achieve. She delivered sneak peeks and a gallery much faster than expected in an online interface which was user friendly. My Process

Upon initial contact, we will arrange the place and date for your session. Next, I will send you an invoice for your booking deposit to secure your session. This is also a non-refundable deposit.
I will then send you my client questionnaire via email to be filled out so I can get to know you and your family a little better. This will also help me to have a better idea of what kind of images you would like taken on the day.
As your photo session drawers closer, the final payment is due either on the day of the shoot or 7 days prior to the shoot.
Once the photo shoot is complete, I will then send a sneak peek via an online gallery with 48 hours. The final images will then be sent via the same online gallery within 7 business days.
You will also have the option to choose extra products like prints, frames and albums from a professional photo lab that I am a pro member with.

Send me a message via my contact form found on my website or through my social media account and I will send you my booking link and an invoice to secure your session date. Please note this session deposit is non refundable.
My sessions are generally 30-90 minutes.
We can reschedule to a new date that works for us both.
It will be a very relaxed experience with minimal awkward posing and lots of laughter, I promise! It won’t even feel like a ‘photo shoot’. It will feel like a good old family catchup!
